OK I’m going to float a theory here.
Have you ever noticed that the stereotypes people fall into with respect to the Zodiak calendar tend to be true more often than not? I’m not talking about the daily horoscopes you read in the paper, but I’m talking about generalized things like an Aries being known to be courageous and Leos being known as straightforward.
Now, I’m not suggesting that the alignment of stars and planets has anything to do with the way you behave (and maybe it’s just self fulfilling prophecy), but perhaps just maybe, it has something to do with the climate you experienced at a very young age.
In the northern hemisphere (where most people live) babies born in the fall are exposed to less light and more cold because it’s winter during their early months. While those born in the spring, spend the first six months of life outdoors, with longer days and blue sunny skies.
As someone born in November, my Scorpio tendencies lean toward intensity, and the number of fellow Scorpios I’ve met who exhibit this trait is astounding. Maybe it has something to do with the stormy winter weather and dark gloomy months most of us encountered in our early days.
Like I said, it’s just something fun to think about. And while you can’t control the month you were born in, you can help children make positive associations with the natural world at an early age. To find out how, you can read part I of this topic here.
