We cut this diseased tree in the late summer, and by fall, a ring of mushrooms is found growing on the stump.
This week has seen mushrooms popping up all over the place at our property in Plain, WA. After a long hot summer with very little rain, fall downpours and cooler temperatures encouraged all kinds of fungi to sprout.
