If you were to ask adults who grew up near snowy places to list their top ten days as a kid, a good number of them would probably have a sledding day or two on their list. The gaggle of kids screaming down icy neighborhood hills on a snow day are some of my fondest memories as a kid.
Sledding is one of those classic winter activities that brings joy to the hearts of kids big and small.
Now that we live in the mountains, we’ve been taking our sledding adventures to another level by leaving the paved streets in favor of backcountry shoots filled with deep powder.
