Hello animal lovers! We’ve been seeing so much activity on our game cameras that we’ve decided to use this blog to post monthly (or at least a quarterly) critter cam highlights.

If you’re staying at one of the Osprey Acres BnB’s, it’s a good chance to see what was in the area during your stay. And we hope that it will be easier to see the change in activity throughout the seasons.

As of this post we’re using six cameras in the field.  A common question we get is what brand of cameras we recommend, so in most cases we’ve left the info bar on the bottom of the shots so you can compare the quality.  If you represent a trail camera company and want us to promote or test your latest cameras, please reach out directly!

Here are the highlights from July 2019. Enjoy!

Young cougars are called cubs or kittens and live with their mothers during the first few years of life.

We photographed a bear last summer that had a stripe like this one. We think it’s a change from a juvenile to full grown. Or a Pepe Le Pew bear.
